MLSS Directors participated in Aquatica Submarines’ media launch of the Stingray 500 manned submersible. Over 300 people were in attendance. MLSS, along with eight other sponsors, set up a table display with video and posters help Aquatic celebrate the occasion. Good food, good conversation and a good time was had by all!

In April, Glen Dennison, Lena Clayton and a crew of MLSS divers supported Aquatica during the deep water, hull pressure test dive of Stingray 500 in Howe Sound. The Stingray was certified on the spot by Lloyd’s of London. The next steps for Aquatica are to do shallow water power trials with Stingray to make sure that the thrusters and instruments are fine-tuned and operating correctly.
