The Marine Life Sanctuaries Society is a grassroots organization that strives towards greater marine protections. We do this through research, education, and collaborations with government, Indigenous, and other non-profit organizations.
We have accomplished a lot in the 30+ years MLSS has been around, including important marine protection s in Howe Sound.
We have 2 amazing staff, a committed Board of Directors and a strong volunteer base, including biologists, landowners, students, and Citizen Science scuba divers.
Help Preserve Marine Ecosystems for Future Generations
Your donations will help us deliver programs such as the Rockfish Monitoring Program, Lingcod Egg Mass Survey, and Beach Interpretation Programs. We are also embarking upon new monitoring programs with the addition of our new research boat.
Our work towards greater protections of our sensitive ocean ecosystems is supported by our volunteers and donors like you. We greatly appreciate all contributions!
