Exciting mapping project - coming soon!
Transient orcas recently sighted near Christie Islet RCA. Boat engine was shut off, and orcas swam under the boat and carried on.
What is a RCA?
Glen Dennison (President of MLSSBC) helped remove an old wrecked boat from the Howe Sound sea floor. The hull was carefully cleaned and a variety of sea life that had taken up residence on the wreck were safely returned to the ocean. Plastics and metal parts were also removed and recycled. Thanks for keeping our oceans clean, Glen!
Looks like this Grunt Sculpin is keeping it safe and cozy for the holidays.
Season's Greetings from MLSS BC!
